“Barnes Aerospace is an exceptional company that has been in business since 1857. I worked there for nearly 17 years. When I left the company, I wasn't really leaving Barnes but going to an exciting new opportunity. I was not looking to leave the company when this opportunity came up and I would without reservation recommend Barnes Aerospace as an employer. Most negative comments posted are from disgruntled former employees, so don't be concerned about them. Barnes stresses SQDC within their core values (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost). With Safety being first, I saw many examples of the safety of employees being the main concern of leadership. When the COVID pandemic first hit, the company hired nurses to screen employees and visitors. Even today they have kiosks set up where entrants are required to have their temperature taken and answer health-related questions before entering. They also set up plexiglass dividers on tables in the break rooms before this became the fad at grocery stores. Hand sanitizers were stationed throughout the shop. When anyone on the team tested positive for COVID, the company would hire outside professionals to come in and do a deep cleaning/sanitization. Regarding Quality, the organization fully realizes that it is making aerospace product and is completely transparent with their customers regarding their product and compliance. I was never pressured to compromise my integrity. This is a key reason why I stayed with the company for so long and can still recommend them even after my departure. No company is perfect and Barnes does have its share of challenges to work, but they are working through them always striving to improve and do the right thing.”

I booked through kayak so I called to confirm they received the reservation a few days before arriving, and he was also flexible in letting me reschedule the rental dates.
