Life guards on duty...so safety is important, especially if you go swimming with the family.
The main building is a surprise. Still looking good when first constructed.
(August 23, 2020, 5:56 pm)It's a beautiful and simple park. Great to get together (socially distant currently) and hang out pop down to the beach for a nice swim in a spacious swim zone and the snack shop is convenient if you didn't bring your own delicious cook out spread.
(August 15, 2020, 5:12 pm)Very nice park. The pier was closed (bummer). Plenty of picnic tables and shade trees. Quiet but noticeable park officers to keep everyone safe and enforce rules about alcohol.

Please keep working to clean up the sand and water quality for this blessing of a resource.
(July 31, 2020, 6:18 am)I always love going to the beach here, it's so pretty and clean. Going first thing in the morning was great because it's extremely empty, but it does get busy later and many people aren't keeping their distance or wearing masks at all.
