I visited with a small group of children and we were welcomed in and enlightened of the history of firefighting as well as the knowledge of safety when dealing with fires.
Frank was a tremendous guide. The vintage fire alarm system is spectacular
If your in the Cleveland area you should totally check out the Fire Museum. The staff was super friendly and of course loves to talk about old fire and rescue equipment.
They also have a great kid Fire safety / learning area for the little ones!
The volunteer staff was friendly and knowledgable, as most are former fire fighters. They have equipment as well as pictures dating from the turn of the last century to today.
Fun place to spend a little time learning more about the amazing people that do a job that most would not do.
Thanks to those men and women who are running into a building when others are running away from it! Amazing!
What a great museum. The volunteers inside were very informative and nice. The experience is well worth the price of admission. They have cool things for the kids to do as well. A definite recommendation.
