Tub Glazing by April

Even though we were not able to end up having April work on our tub, I want to provide some great feedback for April. I sent out many request for quotes over the weeks, to several businesses, for some refinishing work. Not only was April one of the few to respond, but she responded very timely and worked with me through many rounds of communication and quickly became my first choice. We set up an appointment for some refinishing work, and April came promptly on time, which is not all that common when having work done at our house! However due to a lack of clarification on my part due to the status of our tub it turned out we were not able to go ahead with the work. But despite the shift in plans, April was very understanding, receptive, and provided clear and attractive pricing should our situation change. I commend April for the utmost professionalism and curtesy she showed, and urge anyone who seeks contractors for good customer service, to give her a try :)

April was great to work with! Communication was easy (via email), and she answered all my questions and addressed any concerns (I was worried about my cats being around/exposed to the process). She was super professional and knowledgeable and, most importantly, did a beautiful job on our tub! We’ve been using our freshly refinished tub for a few weeks now and are very pleased. It’s bright white, crisp, and clean; we couldn’t be happier and I highly recommend April.

Amazing! April refinished our 1950s mauve cast iron bathtub. She was fast, professional, and very fairly priced. I cannot believe how nice it looks. I wish I had found her sooner!

We used tub glazing by April in May of 2020. She responded and finished the job in a very timely fashion. Our bathtub, wall and shower tile were in great condition, but a horrid pink color. April reglazed it to a beautifully clean white. High recommend!

I was in the process of putting my house up for sale and among other things, had a bathtub that was in pretty bad shape. It had a pre-existing finish on it that had worn off and was chipping, and if that wasn't bad enough, it had a few gouges on the bottom that had to be filled in. After consulting with many tub refinishing companies, I felt confident that April could do the job well. Her references were all great, so I went ahead and hired her. Just like her customers told me, she gave a lot of attention to detail and didn't take a penny until the job was completed to my satisfaction. When she was done, all the imperfections were gone and the beige color that we chose blended perfectly with the existing bathroom fixtures. It looked fantastic.

When my house had the showings, the people all complimented on the bathroom and how nice it looked. I am sure that this was a huge selling factor for my house. I got two offers the first day that the house was on the market. One of them came in at $1000 over my asking price! Kudos to April for her fine craftsmanship--and a bonus is that she is a very pleasant person and very easy to work with!
