  Dr. Dowd has exceeded my expectations as an eye doctor. He provides excellent service and is very detailed oriented. The rest of the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Had no issues scheduling my appointments, and everyone answered all my questions. Highly recommend.

  EXCEPTIONAL CARE!
  I had an urgent issue with my eye and called before office hours. I was greeted on the phone by a very courteous and caring person. She got me in for an exam that morning. I came in very upset, worried about losing my vision, and the staff comforted me and gave me prompt, courteous attention. The doctor was fantastic, very clear and very caring. He and his staff handled my referral and got me an immediate appointment with a retina specialist, which was necessary.
  It was a difficult morning for me, and they were truly outstanding!
  I cannot say enough about how wonderful they are in every way!!

  I have been going to Dr. Paul Dowd for many years now and he is a very thorough eye doctor. He leaves no stone unturned or should I say eye unexamined. I feel complete confidence in his care. The office staff is very professional and friendly. I have both diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma and he has provided good advice for the care I need. I highly recommend him!

  This was my first visit to an optometrist in many years. Since I wear gas permeable contact lenses, they last forever and keep my vision stable. I hadn't felt the need to get an exam until I started getting headaches recently. The office and staff was very inviting, the kind woman from Tennessee who completed the retinal tests explained them to me and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Dowd was congenial and thorough with his exam and down to earth honest with my needs. He did not try to recommend new glasses or contacts just for a sale. My prescription minimally changed and he even suggested keeping it at what it is now, if I'm comfortable with that, and to just get cheap +1 reading glasses if I want to ease the pressure up close a bit. I very much appreciated Dr. Dowd's integrity and congeniality. I highly recommend him and his office!
