Messiah Lutheran Church

I attend my AA meeting on Sunday evenings in the cafeteria area of the Church property. The people are kind enough to share space for us and always accommodating to our needs.

The staff at this Church and School are so friendly that I consider them family. They also have Laundry Love which is the last Thursday of every month from 6-8pm held at Leo's Laundromat located at W.202nd and Lorain Road here in Fairview Park. They pay for the washing and drying of a load of your clothes. Food is also served, which is prepared at the church.

Messiah Lutheran Church is the church I grew up in and was ordained in many years ago- visiting there was like coming home. It is celebrating 90 years of ministry to the community. Its sanctuary is beautiful and its school is well known. It is a place known for music, art, liturgy, good theological preaching , involvement in the community, and its welcome and open arms for all.

Evangelical Lutheran Church of America congregation. It's a well attended church with a very solid leadership team. The parking can be a bit tight, particularly during weddings, funerals, etc. There are multiple entrances and exits. It's a nice, mid-sized, airy church with a unique building. Whenever I've attended I've been impressed.
