The honey mustard chicken was okay, the chicken was a little bit dry. The Reuben sandwich could have had more corned beef on it, the marble rye bread on the Reuben was excellent. The carrot cake and peanut butter cookie for dessert we're also excellent. Our waitress was very nice and attentive.
Story time: back when I was little, my dad would have to travel for work. Now and again, he'd bring back the most delicious French silk pie. I found out when I was older that it came from Bakers Square near Cleveland.
It's been over 30 years since I had that pie, and I still could remember how good it was. Fate brought me to Cleveland today, and all I could think about was going and getting a slice of this pie. And let me tell you: it's as amazing as I remember. The food was great, the coffee superb, and the childhood memories were validated. Definitely a must for any lover of pies and good food.
Went there to have a work meeting with several coworkers. They accommodated our small group with no problems. We ordered breakfast, which was very good. The server paid attention to our table despite knowing we were probably going to have a small check even though we were there for a couple hours. She was pleasant and appreciated.
I had the pleasure of having lunch at this Baker's Square location yesterday. I'm really happy there is still one open in the Cleveland area. Jennifer N. is the best server ever !! Friendly, efficient, attentive and knowledgable. She is a delight and an asset to this restaurant. I had a Build Your Own Omelette which was delicious. It came with hash browns and I chose an English Muffin as my bread. It was a Wednesday, so it was "Free Pie Day" as well - I chose peach. It was AWESOME !
