Leather By Dragonfly

I have bought several nail aprons and woodworking vests in the past. The vests were good quality, made with pretty heavy canvas, but they only last three or four years before they simply wear out - the pockets tear and they are just 'done'.
When my latest canvas vest wore out, I started looking for something better and discovered Leather by Dragonfly. After going through the entire custom-fitting process and waiting anxiously for my new apron, it finally came.
What a wonderful apron it is! custom designed to hole the tools I use most often, each in its own pocket. Stitching is heavy-duty, and the rivets on the corners of the pockets ensure long life. I have no doubt it will last the rest of my life, and probably another generation or two! I am VERY happy with my new apron.
Patrick and Michelle are great to work with, and give wonderful customer service.

This is, without doubt, THE most used item in my shop. Love that the items, that are always used, are on my person.
Lay that tape measure down, and forget where it landed? Not the case with this custom made apron. Michelle was a sweetheart to deal with and super helpful. I have tried many different aprons, cotton, wore out really fast, canvas, saw dust stuck to it, leather welding aprons, no pockets and they shed bits of leather for a long time. I held off writing a review until I've owned my apron for a while (about 18 months now). It is a great tool to have. It's held up well, and is very useful. I live in the south, in an non-climate controlled building. I haven't had any issues with the apron cracking or becoming brittle.

The process to get my apron customized was AWESOME! The team guides you through placement of various tools, based on what you own and what you use. It truly is a custom process. I can't say enough of positive things about Leather by Dragonfly.

I have now had my custom leather apron for almost two years and it is absolutely still the most used tool in my shop! And it looks just as good today as the day I received it.

I can’t believe it’s been a year since I received my custom leather shop apron from Michelle and Patrick! April 2021 is my 1st anniversary with this most used tool in my shop. I wish all businesses and owners of businesses would treat and interact with their clients like Patrick and Michelle did with me when designing and purchasing my custom apron.
