The highway is right at the top of the ravine and trash from the highway always gets into the water and park. When it rains hard the runoff from the highway smells like car fluids in the stream. I wish they could filter the water from the storm drains before it goes into the ravine and some tall grasses at the top by the railroad tracks would help stop the trash from entering the park. It is literally the coolest spot in town; on a day that is too hot everywhere else I can usually still walk my dog here.
This place was an absolute adventure. I ran across this while walking on a trail. I felt free and enjoyed just being present at this park. It was worth the journey. I recommend the visit. From the bridge art to the trails both high and low, to the treasures left from the past being present to represent the Indians who use to reside there; be in the moment.
It was nice, quite and the trails were clean. It also has a nice waterfall and plenty of places to stop and rest or eat at one of the many picnic tables along the way. All together very nice place for the family.
Nice outdoorsy place to visit. My dogs love this park. I just open my front door and they are there in under five minutes. A great walk for me and both of my pups.
Awesome hidden little park in Clintonville here. Great place to take your dog, kids, or a solo stroll, with a little creek, some paths through the woods, and just an overall great park in the middle of this area.
