“During the recent heat wave I purchased a garden cart on line, knowing that it would need to be assembled. When assembly was 99% complete I discovered a manufacturing defect. I was drenched with perspiration, exasperated and polite when I contacted Customer Service and asked that the defective cart be replaced, assembled and delivered to my home. The first person I spoke with did not have authority to do all that I asked, but she agreed to escalate my request. The person I next spoke with and I were able to work out a satisfactory plan. He would arrange to have this store accept my return and provide an assembled replacement. He even gave me his name and extension. William, the manager at the store, and Steve at the Customer Service Desk did a fine job, despite some complicated paper work. As a disabled vet, I really appreciate Home Depot and the fine people that work there.”

“When I go to a grocery store I try to get in and out as quickly as possible. Every time I go to this Meijer I have to waste time looking for something, because it has been moved. Hate to ask any of the employees for help, because I swear they are all in a severe state of depression even the greeters. I worked in retail management nearly all my life (now retired) and I would never allow things like this to happen in my stores. Management needs to get their employees upbeat and motivated!!! Time for a new manager. I only shop at this store because they almost always have a great selection of products and at a reasonable price.”

“Very cool setup. I was able to drop my items off and were ready the next day. The way they are set up allows you to pick your items up 24 hrs a day if you have a credit card on file with them. The staff was very polite and professional.”
