I took lessons from John nearly 25 years after quitting them as a child. Not only was he patient with me as I got my bearings, he was encouraging and made me feel accomplished. John listened to my musical interests and chose pieces that aligned with those interests, challenged me, and gave me a sense of accomplishment. His attitudes is always encouraging and motivating.
