Chicken On the Run

Very good food . We had a group of 11 and the service was great. I would recommend this placel.

Hole in the wall dive that sells a good variety of food. The Saratoga chips had a delicious seasoning on them but they weren’t fried evenly and some were soft.

The food was excellent, our table enjoyed various menu items. The grilled chicken salad portion was generous. The fish sandwich was a standout along with the sidecar fries (battered and fried potato spirals). The wings, both regular and boneless, were delicious with tasty sauces that didn't drown the wings. Onion rings were beer battered and also delicious. There is a full bar and they serve Coke products. The staff was kind and helpful, making good recommendations, but like many places, they were short staffed. In spite of this our food arrived hot and relatively quickly. Parking was sufficient but i suspect it is tight during peak times. This isn't a fancy place, but the food was great and we are looking forward to returning. If we lived in the neighborhood, we'd be regulars.

Friend of mine used to own this so I thought I'd stop in to see him. Turned out he had passed away. So here's a 5 star in his honor, the least I can do. Great bar with a great local feel. Great food. The Big Joe is the bomb! And the Reds are on. Here's to you Ross.

Pretty good for late night grub. Nice variety with decent wings. Wish the loaded fries were a little more "loaded." For the most part I'm really enjoying this meal.
