Putz's Creamy Whip

Putz's is an old fashioned Creamy Whip! A family business since 1938, it's been a favorite Summer spot since my childhood. At the base of Montana at West Fork, it's a pleasant cruise through Mt Airy Forest downhill from Colerain Ave. Treat yourself!
Hot Fudge Sundae, anyone?

Super creamy ice cream! Definitely one of the best places in town. Haven't tried the food but all of their frozen items are fantastic! Good malts too.

One star deduction because they're still cash only. C'mon Putz's, it's 2021!

The only meh thing I can say is I wish they took cards. Other than that Putz's ice-cream is always amazing, the 2 times I did get food it was decent. About the same as normal fast food. Not to mention all the people who work there are always nice and pleasant to interact with.

Very well run, quick & efficient. The ice cream is great, Hugh menu. Picnic tables to sit lots of people. Parking gets crowded pretty fast but the lot moves fast. Great treat time!

What can you say about Putz's? It's an institution. I love this place. Great options (although I wish they had flavor burst). Food is really good as well which can be hit or miss at these creamy whip type places.

We live probably too close to this and are here weekly. When we say Putz's our kids come running. What else can you say? Love them.
