Great turkey products. I always buy the turkey loins 10lbs box.
They have overnight parking in front of the place, is easy to get here and the backing is straight back only 2 door
We have gotten our Thanksgiving turkey here for YEARS! Best turkey around. You can tell some people have no idea about how turkeys are farmed. The birds are well cared for and the business is very regulated.
If you read the 1-star reviews complaining about the trucks and “the evil way the turkeys are treated” then let me educate you.
The “feathers flying” turkeys are molting. They’re in prime age for eating, but that’s also peak molting stage. The walls aren’t on the trailers because, even in the cold, they’ll overheat and die if they’re not in exactly the right temps. Birds are finicky like that. Their chunky bodies will put off a lot of heat when they huddle together and, yes, they like to do that.
If you think this company treats their birds unfairly, you couldn’t be further from the truth. They’re HEAVILY regulated and watched by the USDA and always does their best to exceed standards. Everything they’re doing is just fine, even if it looks like the birds are uncomfy. I haven’t worked there in 5+ years, but I still remember how much work went into making sure everything was done correctly and how much they’d happily educate anyone that asked questions, I know I asked a lot!
The turkeys aren’t suffering and the feathers flying would be happening whether or not they’re on the truck.
