“Kenwood Baptist Church is a vibrant church, filled with followers of Jesus who take the Bible at its word. The team of pastors, led by David Palmer, are dedicated to the scriptures and living them out. David Palmer is a scholar with expertise in key subject matter areas in addition to his theological training and degrees. Kenwood has groups that reach out into the community, such as a Japanese fellowship, a Needs Pantry, local school outreaches, and plenty of volunteers to cook for the men at City Gospel Mission. What are characteristics of a healthy church? In my search of the Scriptures, here are some foundational needs of any healthy church. Kenwood Baptist Church meets these mandates: Healthy churches have a plurality of Elders. Healthy churches have faithful leaders. Healthy churches have members who submit to their leadership. Healthy churches humbly serve one another and receive God’s blessing. Healthy churches learn about and search the Scriptures Healthy churches share God's Word with others fulfilling the Great Commission.”

“Went to church here on Christmas Eve. The church is set up in a semi circle, this the pews being a little tighter, but bearable. If you need more room or have issues with kneelers, I recommend sitting closer to the front, so you're not on the incline. Dress seems mostly nice, a few Friday business casual in nice jeans and dress shorts. The choir sits on the right side when looking at the alter, so you may be behind them if you sit on that side. They also occasionally have a brass ensemble, which sounds really pretty. You can get to the church by Kenwood road, before 71, or Montgomery, behind the school.”

The Sunday potluck dishes where everyone brings something, is unique, rare and not seen or heard of anymore in any church that I can think of. Kenwood Fellowship Church is truly a unique place. Small church with a big heart! Very, very hard to find a church like this. Oh, how blessed this place is.”
