I had heel pain and went to an orthopedic institution. After x-rays and an MRI I was told to wear a nightsplint and do physical therapy for 2 months. After this didn’t work I was told I would need surgery with a recovery time of 8 weeks. I decided to see Dr. Vail as friends of mine had gone to him with good results. After examining me and my test results he explained that he has had good results with blood platelet injections. Although not covered by my insurance I decided to give it a try before jumping into surgery. It has been 4 weeks and I am pain free! I want to thank Dr. Vail and his staff for helping me and treating me like family!
