“The American Road Diner is a wonderful step back in time to the 1950s. The diner's look is that of the heyday of America's early Rock& Roll and Hot Rod car years, with vintage wall hangings, a jukebox and comfortable booths that resemble those from that era. Not only will the restaurant's decor take you back in time, so will the wonderful service! The waitress/Manager who served me was a delight. She was cheerful and very attentive to every customer. The cook was quick with preparing the orders and I didn't have to wait very long at all. That kind of service is all too often a thing of the past, so it's refreshing to find it again. But of course, the main reason for visiting is for good food, and your going to find it here. The menu is simple: breakfast, lunch and dinner options that aren't fancy but are what a person would have found in a Diner back then. I had a cheeseburger and fries and it was delicious! It was even served in the old fashioned wicker style basket with red and white checkered paper liner. The restaurant is clean from the floors to the tables and chairs, even the condiment containers are spotless. It's obvious that the employees take great pride in their work. This was my first visit to The American Road Diner and I was highly impressed. I will come back every time I'm in the area.”
