Toledo Family Dental Care

I have gone to a few dentists in Toledo since I moved here, and had some nightmarish experiences, and Dr. McGowan is, by far, the best dentist that I have gone to.
He cares about his patients, and it shows.
He really tries to make you as comfortable as possible, and he has a great sense of humor, which really helps when going to the dentist, because, let's face it, nobody likes going to the dentist.
I would highly recommend him, and no, I wasn't paid for this shining review 🙂

Very friendly and engaging staff. My hygienist rocks, she cares deeply about her patients. Dr. McGowan and his team are person centered and put your dental needs first. Highly recommend.

I used to very much dislike going to the dentist but after going to Dr. McGowan I have gotten over the dislike and fear. Dr. Pete is such a nice man and makes you feel comfortable. He explains everything to you and makes you feel cared about and comfortable and is the best at what he does in my opinion. The people that work there are very nice and make you feel comfortable and cared about.

I have been going here since the 2010s for both regular cleanings and orthodontic care after seeing at least three other local dentists and I really enjoy Dr.McGowan's work and attitude. His staff is also very kind and competent, usually remembering me from a previous visit.
If you have regular cleanings, it will usually be the same technician performing them, which I enjoy so that you can build a relationship with them.
I also appreciate reminder texts and emails for upcoming appointments.
Covid procedures are also good, with temperature checking at check in and seats well spread out in the waiting room.
