The grounds are always well kept. They are currently doing a great deal of construction/expansion. The staff has maintained the grounds beautifully and are respectfully quite during the times I've visited.
The entire staff is amazing but like always the liaison Ms. Wendy Hayes went above and beyond -not just for our deceased veteran but for our veterans active duty grandson who was able to attend the funeral last minute . God bless you Wendy and your coworkers at that beautiful veterans cemetery.
They are currently remodeling the entrance.
There are portable restrooms at both the front and back. They are handicapped accessible and very clean.
Having more than one restroom is nice for those who want to spend time with their loved ones
Plenty of free parking throughout. The grounds are well kept year round.
.
Each veteran is given a full military service including a 21 gun salute. In my case they spent shells were returned to me in a special pouch.
Because the graves are close to each other families cannot watch the actual burial service for safety reasons.
The area is surrounded by trees and a breeze often is felt. It is a very peaceful place.
There are waste containers at each section, as well as a container where you can take a flower holder to put flowers in. That is helpful as the ground if often hard to place flowers in.
There is a welcome center near the front entrance.
It was a wonderful honorable ceremony for my father. Thank you all so much for all that were in attendance and also to all the men and woman who have served and continue to serve our Nation. With the deepest gratitude.
Very somber well kept cemetery best known as Little Arlington they are very respectful of our Veterans and there families. Visually beautiful for a cemetery quiet and peaceful the chime from the clock bells are a nice touch. If you take the time to walk the memorial trail (easy walk) the monuments from all the groups will bring a tear to your eye and hats off to all the good people and organizations that paid for these beautiful monuments
