Eastwood MetroPark Lake Entrance

Great park for walks with lovely scenery and wildlife. You can also fish or use as an entry to kyack down the river. Has shelters,bathrooms, and grills.

Great place to go kayaking with my daughter. Easy access to the water. Tried fishing too, but didn't catch anything. It is crowded on the weekends, but that was expected. Only complaint is the gravel section at the far end of the parking lot has some really bad potholes. Also could use some extra patrols by the park rangers. People were openly smoking pot in the middle of the day, and I don't want myself or my kid exposed to that.

This place is beautiful!!!! Decent place to fish. Its hit and miss like most places. Relaxing and definitely family friendly. So many different types of boats kayaks inflatable boat. Paddle boards as well. People here are so friendly. Everyone respects each other. The water isn't tremendously deep but deep enough that when you do hook into a big fish it fights well.

The lake is worth visiting in all four seasons. The facilities are nice and many people boat and fish here. The lake supports migrating birds. I enjoy the sunsets here. If the sky looks like there is going to be a good sunset, head to Eastwood Lake...a great place to take sunset pictures.
