Germantown MetroPark Twin Valley Welcome Center

Nothing like it used to be. There used to be a full nature center with animals, displays, and infoor bird feeder viewing. Now all that's left is restrooms. You can't even get to the windows to see the bird feeders, they can only be viewed from outside.

🐦🦉🦆🕊 Peaceful and beautiful trails. The amount of birds singing is astonishing. Multiple connected trails, big parking, bathrooms, potable water, and map center. Great Metro Parks activities. Lots of insects, stay covered. 🐜🕷🐛🐞🦟🦟🦗🪲

Beautiful trails and many options to explore. Multiple trail heads and parking, bathrooms, potable water. Lots of incline/decline so perfect for those looking for a glute workout or practice for a much larger journey. Went on a Sunday late morning and trails were not busy

Everything was well-kept and beautiful. It was a lottle confusing to find the overlook. You have to park by the mens bathroom and take the paved path.

Very nice park. It’s large with multiple different trails each rated for difficulty. Mostly woods some areas are landscaped with flowers etc. There is even a small pond where we found a large eastern frog that eyed us. Popular place.. lots of people on the trails not overly crowded. Not as dense with flowers as some the smaller nature preserves but plenty of hiking.
