“This is a family owned restaurant. A real mom & pop joint. An older man that looks like he has wisdom in his knuckles & the presence of "Uncle Iroh" love runs the place. His food is always on point. A younger woman with a few lil kiddos runs the place when he is away. Her food is tasty but less of a perfected art. The woman is using the business teaching her kids valuable skills by allowing them to assist @ the register. I actually enjoyed watching her show her lil girl how to properly count change & the excitement of a job well done for the kid. Learning math & customer service right before my eyes. Other times the kids are doing hw or playing a game. This isnt a dine in place. I usually get a shrimp & chicken w/rice. Portion sizes are nice. I usually have left overs or share with my toddler. Family ran businesses are my fav.”

“I am not appreciative. Believe me; they are trying to do as well as they can for those in need. But if you go in the 5pm to 6:30pm pantry, you will get nothing you can use. I was given 16 hotdog buns but no hotdogs A box of taco shells but nothing to put on them. The gallon of milk as and box of cherios was the only thing i can use. They gave a bag of flaming hot cheetoes and two packets of valveta cheese sauce that were jalapeno flavored . I have a stomach ulser and sadly cannot eat hot foods. It seems to me that they give out things from other foodbanks that no one else wants. I appreciate any food, but unless yo u live very close, its not worth the gasoline.”

“We callled due to a leak coming in one of the bathrooms. They were able to come out the same day for an inspection. The inspection was thorough. And Mike explained all issues and what my choices were going forward. We did a complete tear off and install of a new roof. Sergeant’s was timely, professional, and did quality work on our roof. Their crew was able to knock this job out pretty fast considering the multi-peak roof. Being a veteran myself, I try to use veteran owned businesses.
