Akron Montessori School

I’ve had 4 boys go to Akron Montessori and its honestly the only place I trusted that would take care of my children, keep them safe, and teach them to be kind, respectful people. The Montessori method is wonderful! My boys were more than academically ready (in fact are in advanced classes) for school after they finished their three years of preschool at Akron Montessori. Unlike other preschools/daycares, we were able to send in our own food (due to allergies) and were never made to feel like we were a burden to the school with our children’s food allergies. I also love that each child can move at their own pace. I don’t know how the teachers keep track but they are able to challenge each child in said child’s interest and keep the basics of language, math, arts, geography and science at the level needed for each child. There’s plenty of opportunities for nature exploration and even organic gardening. Can’t say enough good things about this wonderful school. So happy that the owner Mrs Jaye decided to keep the school open after the pandemic.

Always a wonderful learning environment with engaging, kind, invested teachers. Thrilled with their new additions of classrooms and organic garden—and even while being in the hustle and bustle of Fairlawn, is tucked away enough to provide a relaxing environment. A great choice for any parent and child. Nice large parking lot and easy access for drop off and pick up.

Wonderful school...! Teachers jaye , teresa, patty, and mr. rob are very friendly . My son learnt writing in just 1 mnth.. such was the confidence given by them . Unfortunately we had to move out of Ohio . Owise my son would have definitely continued here . Miss them :(
