(June 27, 2022, 12:31 pm)A pretty solid trail going south relative to going north. Not a lot of elevation change and mostly shaded, especially in the morning. A woman's car was robbed so be sure to store valuables out of sight.
(April 2, 2022, 8:06 pm)A nice trailhead and features a somewhat hilly path throughout Barberton. Plenty of parking is available, and there are restrooms here too but I don't believe any water fountains are present (or at least I cannot remember any). Great place to walk or run in nature!
(May 12, 2019, 2:25 am)This is a great place to park and get on the towpath. It never seems to be overloaded with people and it has indoor restrooms that are pretty clean. Also, if you go North on the trail, it's 2.4 miles until the next road crossing and if you go south, it's 2.3 miles before you cross a road again. It's nice if you have children and aren't going to go too far because you your out in the woods and don't have to worry about crossing any roads! It is also beautiful no matter what direction you choose to go!
(May 30, 2017, 7:03 am)Great trail if you head south from here. Was flooded a bit near Clinton when we went, but we've also had a lot of rain lately. Lots of wildlife to see as you zip through mostly flat trails right next to the old canal and the Tuscarawas river.
