Furnace Run Metro Park

Great park with plenty of space for small or large gatherings. Picnic tables with grills scattered throughout the whole area. There are even some that are nestled in the woods. They have a small shelter attached to a small reserved pavilion.
Two separate trails totaling around 2 miles. Rock Creek Trail takes you meandering through the woods along Rock Creek. There are several creek crossings over man-made bridges. This flat dirt Trail is great for young and old. Old Mill Trail takes you the opposite way along Rock Creek the trail splits pretty quickly when you enter. The right stays a bit flatter the left go straight up the hill a bit more hills on this trail. This Trail also has man-made bridges for the creek crossings. Just off to the right of the pavilion you will see bushwood Lake. There is a trail leading around. There is a grass path that leads closer to the stream that takes you to the street out and back. Also don't forget there is an offshoot towards the left that takes you halfway around Bush Lake

Cute little park with two separate mile long trails. We went on the rock stream trail which was very scenic. Know the highway is nearby so it is a bit noisy. Also the trail does get a little mucky after it rains.

Not to be confused with furnace run trail! That is where you'll find the Everett covered bridge.

A park for all seasons and all reasons. This is one of the more popular parks in Summit County. The indoor pavilion is often rented out for events, usually fully booked. Ice skating is available here during the winter, if we have enough consistent cold weather below freezing. Two trails are present for hiking, both one mile each. Old Mill was chosen for 2021 annual fall hiking spree. Been here many times. Always a great time!

Beautiful park. Small lake for fishing. Easy paths. Clean creek with fish. Very clean and new bathrooms. Nice, reservable meeting room for parties, meetings, etc
