I love this place! Kids are allowed to be kids. Parents can watch their kids from the sandy edge. I really appreciate that they provide a body of water to swim in but allow you to bring in outside food and drinks so you don’t have to break the bank coming for the day :) however, They also have snacks and even a food truck! The owner is always present and interacts with the patrons. They keep the park clean. Lots of picnic tables. Frequent safety breaks. The lifeguards were all attentive and respectful. As a mom who abides by common sense, I always keep an eye on my child and have made sure that my son is a strong swimmer, but it’s nice to know there is a clear marker between the shallow and deep end. If you’re expecting a swimming pool environment though, this is not the place for you, haha. As a 90s baby, I’ve been coming here for years and I love that I can bring my son to the same swimming hole that reflects a relaxed experience!

The water is nice and its not too crowded. They got some good food too. One main issue: lifeguards.

They were all grouped in one spot rather than spread out around the lake. Actually I watched someone almost drowned to death. Who saved him? Another ordinary swimmer. Not a lifeguard. Actually I almost drowned too but I managed to touch the bottom and get a footing.

But if you plan on going, I'd recommend staying in the area that's 6ft deep or less because I wouldn't count on those lifeguards.

Was really nice, not over crowded. However my kids got scraped up pretty good from the slide. I think the slide should be replaced. Also I think the dock should be removed and inflatables added. Overall whole family had a blast. The first 2 hours of being there, wasn't any lifeguards. That's okay I am able to watch my own kids. Some parents don't watch their kids so no life guards for 2 hours could be scary

My kids and I loved it here. Nice lake with plenty of room for everyone to have somewhere to sit socially distant. There is a nice shallow area and also a deep end with a diving board, slides, sandy beach, concession stand. The owner was doing activities for the kids, overall excellent experience!
