Meadow View Shelter - Munroe Falls Metro Park

We took our dogs that love the snow and cold weather. They loved getting out of the house. We have done the short and long hike. It has to be a really cool park in the summer, though not much shade. It's kept very clean.

BEAUTIFUL park and maintenance is kept up on perfectly. It's a really good park to showcase Ohio's different seasons.

Nice big hike, but many surrounding buildings can be seen on this meadow walk.

nice for fall and spring hikes with dog or not.. winter on cross country skiing hikes... or sledding for the kids in the family...photo opportunities, particularly in fall as trees change colors, has colorful gum trees. several small ponds from times when used for fur farming??

I grew up from a child through adulthood going to this swim park in the 1960's &70's. My absolute finest childhood memories were Summers here. Back then it was owned by John Renners, back then known only as Renners Park and was only open to Munroe Falls and Stow residents. It was truly a magical time going there and meeting up with friends for a whole day of swimming and consession stand food or cook out when your parents got there. Just loved it!!!!!
