Your dog will love bow bow beach which is part of silver springs park.. there is also a small camping area.
I take my dogs here all the time. The dog park is large and fenced in, giving them plenty of space to run unrestricted. The pond in the center is deep enough that dogs can swim if they want, but it has a fairly low slope at the edges so they can just wade. There is a separate, fenced off area for small dogs and puppies, and an airlock style double gate to make sure all the dogs stay in their designated areas. The grass is well kept, and the sandy beach area always has plenty of tennis balls laying around if your dog is inclined to play fetch.
Beautiful playground with new and clean equipment. Plenty of parking. Was not too busy. And the people were friendly.
It was $18 for a tent site. With that was a 20 amp station, a fire pit, tables, access to potable water, porta potties, and flushing toilets with a heated bathroom.
Great value for the price!! The ranger checked in with us as we set up
our tent and was very friendly.
I have been taking my kids to this playground for years. It is wonderful for all kids, but especially small kids. The old playground is still present, but takes up a very small spot of the park. The main attraction is the ADA accessible "SOAR" playground. They have adaptive swings for kids who need them, as well as dual swings for an infant & caregiver.
The ramps throughout are super helpful for small kids (and chasing them). This is, by far, our favorite playground in the area.
