“Bought the cutest shacket in here this morning. The owner was so sweet and I loved the feel of the jacket. Sadly, I accidentally left it on a bench over looking the River. I called the shop and it had not been turned in, but the owner was so kind and helpful. She even wanted to know which bench we sat on. Her kindness means I'll make another trip to her shop soon. “Very nice restaurant in a historic little town! Obviously popular with the locals--we walked in 10 minutes after they opened and the restaurant was half filled already. Interior decorations feels modern rustic. Clean all around. Food was tasty and came in good portion. We ordered Knucks Cobb Salad and Bromco burger, both good!”

“One of my favorite places to visit. The Natural Fiber and Yarn Company. Is the best place to experience touch, feel, and see fun natural fibers. It's the fall season and the mums were bright and full. There is an old mini school bus being converted into a train. And for such a hot dry summer I understand pumpkins are next on the speciality sale list.”

“While Grand Rapids, OH may not be high on a lot of people’s list of vacation getaways, The Mill House Bed and Breakfast is a gem that should not be passed up, and deserves at least a one-night stay by anyone passing through that little town. The proprietors are warm and welcoming and informative about their establishment and the surrounding sites, attractions, and restaurants. The accommodations are rustic (it’s a converted grist mill) but comfortable (even in hottest July) and charming. As we settled in, we were treated to delicious, complimentary scones as well as coffee and some convenient snacks. In our experience, the other guests were representative of the type of customer described in Mill House mission statement, which made for a quiet and friendly stay. Breakfast conversation with the other guests was very enjoyable. We plan to return for a longer stay sometime in the coming year.”

They do something no other library has ever done and that is give me a telephone call when the books I ask for come in. Also, the emails to remind me that things are coming close to being due. This is extremely helpful to me. . .that reminder. They manage to get almost 100 percent of the books I request. They surpass my expectations. Thanks for this very very special American tradition, the public libraries.”

“As for the atmosphere of the store it's very relaxed. It has a little bit of clothing, home decor items, interesting collectables, and other products. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the store neat and pretty organized. On the downside, the front entrance was not wheelchair friendly having a step up of about 6 ins. The exterior of the building could use a little paint touch up around the upstairs windows and roof line. Looks a little dingy. 🤔”
