We had such a relaxing stay at The Grand Kerr House! Cathy and Bob really made us feel at home, and shared so many interesting historical details about this home. The breakfast is outstanding as well!
What an awesome experience!!
My mom stayed here in November and loved it so much that she got my boyfriend and me a gift certificate for a two night stay as our college graduation present!
Soooo incredibly relaxing — especially the hot tub! Bob and Cathy were so kind and personable, it felt like I’d known them my entire life!
During your stay, check out Wild Side Brewing Company (just a 4 minute walk) for live music and great tap beer!
We had such a great experience that we already booked again for next year! Bob and Cathy were wonderful hosts and a lot of fun to talk with. We were given a nice tour of the house, with all its history.
The bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was a really nice added bonus. My wife got a massage on-sight (super convenient). And the breakfasts, oh the breakfasts! They were soooooooooo good!
The house is just a few minutes walk to a cute little downtown, where there are restaurants and a path along the river. I could not recommend it or Bob and Cathy more highly!
We stayed 2 nights and it's was delightful the house is like stepping back in time maintained extremely well. The 2 breakfasts that were freshly made for us were fabulous not to mention the fresh generous fruit salad bowls prior to breakfast, I indulged in a massage which was very nice and they have a wonderful outdoor hot tub. I would definitely recommend this B+B.
This place is fantastic. If you are reading this you are probably thinking about making a reservation. Pull the trigger, you will not be sorry. The history alone is worth the trip. Even if Queen Anne Victorian is not your design preference, to see the craftsmanship and wood quality, to hear about the intricate details and to see how it has been lovingly restored and maintained, just wow. Bob and Cathy are wonderful hosts. We were greeted warmly and shown to our accommodations. The house is a short walk from the Maumee River and picturesque Front St. It is very reasonably priced. Treat yourself to Clifton’s Quarters. Tip: Not much happens here after five pm so plan your activities on the earlier side. You will look forward to relaxing on the front porch, in the hot tub, or in one of the gorgeous sitting areas. Life is good.
