“I truly cannot say enough positive things about this museum. Dave, our guide, was beyond generous and knowledgeable. He’s been volunteering here for 30 years and came to the museum on a Friday right before Christmas to show my family around for a full two hours. We had an absolute blast. The equipment is beautiful, unique, and fascinating to look at and Dave was able to answer all of our many questions. I became a member and my family was able to tour the entire facility for $35 total for the six of us. We had an amazing time and I feel it was a wonderful bonding experience. I can’t wait to tell my friends about the museum and come back whenever I am able. This was honestly the part of Christmas vacation that I was the most excited about and it did not disappoint. Dave, thank you for your kindness and generosity today. We will never forget this experience. And thank you to all the volunteers who put so much time, passion, and dedication into the art of preserving this beautiful equipment. This is not to be missed. A real gem that deserves so much love and attention. Please visit! Bring the whole family! Preserving history is crucially important and you can tell, without a doubt, that these folks are involved purely for the love of the construction equipment and the stories within. I was really moved by Dave’s passion and love for what he does and it’s clear that the love is shared among all who participate in making this wonderful place what it is. Suggestion: call ahead to book your tour so they can find a volunteer to show you around. Membership comes with a magazine delivered to your house!”

“Extraordinarily clean and neat. Jeff and Terry are top notch car affectionados. Courteous and polite, very knowledgeable too. We stayed as a Harvest Host member, but may end up as a collectible car owner!”

“Super friendly staff who are committed to the preservation and enjoyment of the old rolling stock in the collection. Do a great job with private group tours, as well; we did in conjunction with our antique car club.”

Very interesting and well presented displays and all staff were most helpful. Audio visual information was very helpful please start your tour in the visitors center. This will better explain what you will see in the fort. There were also WW2 reenactors present who were very informative. Plan to spend a good chunk of time here as it is so so so interesting!!! Well worth the time and effort to go here. Loved it!!!????”
