“According to this book I got from the library, this was once and Indian Burial ground. Local gravedigger had to "relocate" remains to make room for new clients. I agree with the notion that the US using eminent domain to seize this property is the most "haunting" thing about it. Same with Egypt Mound in Walton Hills.”

“They are currently remodeling the entrance. There are portable restrooms at both the front and back. They are handicapped accessible and very clean. Having more than one restroom is nice for those who want to spend time with their loved ones Plenty of free parking throughout. The grounds are well kept year round. . Each veteran is given a full military service including a 21 gun salute. In my case they spent shells were returned to me in a special pouch. Because the graves are close to each other families cannot watch the actual burial service for safety reasons. The area is surrounded by trees and a breeze often is felt. It is a very peaceful place. There are waste containers at each section, as well as a container where you can take a flower holder to put flowers in. That is helpful as the ground if often hard to place flowers in. There is a welcome center near the front entrance.”
