“I was added to God’s kingdom in this little church in 1968 before we moved to Texas my parents made sure I was baptized in our family church me being the last of 8 children. All my siblings went to catholic school right down the road. I had never been to this church that I remembered, so in 2010 my aunt passed away one of my sisters and sister in law went to a service. It was beautiful. I felt like I had went home. The priest was so welcoming and shared a story of the lady I was named after. I have since taking my children and grandchildren to this church and I pray they someday will take their children there. God is definitely alive in the little brick church on the side of the road.”

“No one could ask for a more hospitable local Church! These faithful brothers and sisters are more loving and unified than usual! They work out issues and debates with the Word of God, and they do not hold back on sharing the gospel with the unsaved at all! They now annually attend the Ashland Christmas Parade so that they can hand out tracks and spread the oh so important gospel of Jesus Christ! The elders of this church are very doctrine and Bible based in their preaching *and* in the way they take care of the Church. The deacons make sure that every need is met for the congregation and church grounds, and both the elders and deacons work together to lead the Church more towards love for Christ and others. The fellowship here is sincere and sweet every week! There is not a thing that I could bring as a complaint about this Church, because they live for Christ! :)”

“I attended Byron United Church of Christ from birth - 1970 (21 years). I love these pictures and seeing that the church looks as beautiful now as it did then. My grandparents (Roscoe & Elsie Spahr), my parents (Carl & Bernice Fields), and all 5 of us kids always took up an entire pew on Sundays. I received a firm foundation thanks to the Sunday School lessons and the many sermons preached from this pulpit. Hoping to visit the gravesites of my grandparents and my parents on our next trip to Ohio. I have such great memories of this church and feel blessed to have grown up there.”

“I love this church! I was initially introduced to this church by my then girlfriend and immediately received a very warm welcome, which I especially appreciate because I'm not from the Cincinnati area and can sometimes feel like an outsider. The head pastor Doug could not have been more personable and friendly to me. I love Doug's energy, passion, and enthusiasm for the word of God, for the body of believers, and for reaching the lost. The encouragement I have felt since coming to this church has been incredibly POWERFUL, like nothing I have ever experienced before!!! Every Sunday, I come with all of the burdens I'm carrying from the week, sometimes even anxious, weary, shame, overwhelmed, or frustrated. Before the sermon even starts, Doug will consistently get on stage with the biggest smile and say how happy and excited he is that we're here and how glad he is that he gets to spend this time with us in the word. I can't even put into words how refreshing and lifegiving it is! There's this feeling of pure joy when I see just how passionate and excited he is. By the end of the sermon, I sometimes can't even remember what was bothering me that week, or if I do, I have peace with it. His passion and enthusiasm have greatly strengthened my faith and given me a desire to dig deeper into my relationship with God and also to build others up. I've experienced God speaking through Doug in my life and seen the fruit of those teachings take root in my life, and it's beautiful! Crosby Community is truly my family when I'm away from family.”

We have awesome prayer warriors, a nice Sunday school program for all ages, young and young at heart! We have bible study groups and a youth group.
