“Dr Ann is a professional piano teacher having more than 40 years of teaching experience. She is an amazing teacher who holds both bachelor and masters degree in piano performance and a Phd in music education. She loves to teach and accepts students from very young age to adult students like me. Dr Ann always encourages her students to participate in different piano performance programs and recital. Every student is unique and Dr Ann tries her best to make each student a great player. My personal experience is amazing. I am learning from her since last summer and my improvement is noticeable. She always encourages and motivates me to learn more and to improve. Her lessons are very useful and thoughtfully designed to suit her students best. Dr Ann is a very beautiful , kindhearted and dynamic lady and incredible teacher and highly recommended.”

“My experience at Barberton Highschool has been (so far) a good one. A place of learning and filled with numerous oppurtunities such as ACT prep, College Credit Plus, and programs shared between four other districts. The school and its staff has always been encouraging towards creativity and individuality. They have a variety of sports programs and encourage arts. Many teachers are patient and willing to give their best for their students. Even the principle is very unique as he is able to be an authority figure but still approachable and realistic. The janitors work very hard to keep the building clean and it looks fantastic for an older building. Lunch ladies sometimes make special treats to go with lunches and always appreciate a thank you as well as being kind ans encouraging for students to eat a proper meal. I love Barberton High School and it is really oustanding to me. Some things I don't really approve of would be the way of announcements. Despite videos being fun and expressive- I feel like there should be more ways to notify students and parents about important information - Jazmin, 10th Grade”

“One word describes this center - FAMILY! The staff and atmosphere is so incredibly family focused and they make everyone feel just like family. My daughter has been attending for the past 2 years and I couldn't be happier. The teachers genuinely care about the children, the facility is SAFE with fingerprint identification, and there are so many FREE events that are held at or sponsored by the SHBD center. My daughter loves going there and each teacher tracks educational progress that is reported to parents on a regular basis. There are also a lot of outside resources that visit the center to offer sporting activities, eye exams, and social wellness education - all at no additional charge. I'm so incredibly happy that I moved my daughter from a "daycare" to a real educational facility like Small Hands Big Dreams. Parents are also encouraged to participate in activities and they ARE FUN!”

“My daughter goes there. She absolutely loves this school. Sadly due to virus she is not going right now. However they have offered to give tablets and such things for having to school your child at home. The teacher she has has been so wonderful. The DOJO app they use has been so helpful and useful. It's also located in a great area. Also so far I've not heard anything about any bullies or any of that.”

“Great education facility, and great adult ed program. Hugely improved from what it was ten years ago when I went for welding. David Guinn, the adult ed department head, is a man who really cares about the school and the students. If you sign up for the advanced manufacturing technology adult ed course, you will get a lot of great hands on experience, as well as a complete knowledge base. A piece of advice about the advanced manufacturing technology instructors: let Steve Abner do most of the teaching you receive, he is simply better at teaching. The other instructor, who co-teaches the course alongside him, Jeff, has his moments where he can really shine, but don't let him push you around and mess with you too much. My experience with Jeff has been mostly him telling stories about all the places he has traveled to and worked at, and telling me to "figure it out" and not actually helping or explaining things, or teaching, whenever I asked him for help or to explain something, and micromanages you. You might as well be learning without an instructor if Jeff is involved, because you are not being taught, anyway. Don't let him push you around, and turn to Steve for help and instruction.”
