“We love our LCR Day care!My daughter has been going there since she was 18 months old, now she is over 3 years old. The teachers and director are loving, caring and treating kids as they own. My daughter had a separation anxiety at the beginning , so each time I dropped her, her teacher comforted her and held her. It meant a lot to me, I felt at ease knowing that she is in the safe, nurturing place. She has learned so much: numbers, letters, shapes, colours. There are so many activities for children: circle time, reading books, dancing, gymnastics, painting, writing, water days in the summer and fun with the snow in the winter. The classes are spacious and clean with lot of toys and books. Day care provides breakfast, lunch and snacks. LCR staff is doing great job following their Covid-19 protocol. Can’t think about better place and people to take care of my daughter while I am at work.”

“Awesome daycare! Most of the staff is kind, and I'm saying this from personal experience. I actually went to this daycare a few years ago and I had been going for a few years before that, even before this location. All the teachers were very kind to me, and sadly I am too old to go back there. I had very fun times here, and as a child I highly recommend this daycare to parents who want their child to feel happy and at home when parents cannot watch them. “Melody has been my voice teacher for 3 years now. She is the BEST teacher in the area. I HIGHLY recommend her if you need someone to help with college auditions or a musical audition. She cares about all her students and is a wonderful person!! Melody can certainly help you with anyone with any style of music. Many of her students go on to be music majors and place highly in competitions. I recently was a Finalist at the Schmidt Competition and Semi-Finalist in The Overture Competition. The Best Elementary School in Ohio state THE HISTORY OF OLENTANGY LOCAL SCHOOLS In the early 1900’s one room school houses scattered among the landscape made up the local education system. Beginning in 1911, those schools consolidated into four K-12 facilities. Powell school was the first to open in 1911 followed by Hyatts in 1914, Berlin in 1915 and Orange in 1916. These were the only schools in the area until 1952 when construction began on one consolidated school located on Shanahan Road. The new school, Olentangy High School, allowed students in grades 1-8 to remain at their original school then come together for grades 9-12. In 1961 Liberty Union Elementary School was built as a junior high school for kindergarten, seventh and eighth grade students. The new school was built as a neighbor to the Olentangy High School on Shanahan Road and was open to students in 1963. In 1969 some major changes began when the Orange school closed and the Shanahan Road complex housed students in grades K-12 for the first time. In 1973, Berlin, Hyatts and Powell schools also closed bringing all of the students in the area to one general location on Shanahan Road. The connection between the Liberty Union Elementary School and Olentangy High School was completed allowing room for all students in one general campus. The district continued operating this way until 1990 when Olentangy High School opened on Lewis Center Road for students in grades 9-12. Since 1990 the district has experienced a tremendous increase in student enrollment and has grown to a total of 23 schools -15 elementary schools, five middle schools and a three high schools. “I have raised my children in the Three Rivers school district. Lived in the area since 1999. The district has improved since the new school being built. I recently moved from the Three Rivers school district into Dearborn school district located in Indiana. I truly miss Three Rivers and made a huge mistake. The facility, staff curriculum is excellent at Three Rivers. Out of most districts I have visited, Three Rivers is by far superior! I support the district and all I can say is Three Rivers you ROCK! “Former student. I was there at Old Fort for 3-7 then had to leave with family troubles. Old Fort was the greatest school I ever went to. If you people out there think that Fremont would be better in any way... YOU'RE WRONG!!!! The teachers at oldfort actually form relationships with the students and care about their grades and wellbeing. Fremont doesn't really care. Plus the kids there acted so respectfully to the teachers with the exception of maybe 2-3, unlike Fremont where almost every kid has no respect...”
