“I can’t say enough wonderful things about play street! It was a blessing to find them years ago! Now that we have an infant again, they are my go to spot if I need a date night, dr appt, gym, etc! The women who work there truly care about your child. Our children have always had fun and are smiling when we pick them up. It’s very clean and updated inside. They do offer reservations!! if you have an infant like I do, it helps to let them know ahead of time. That way they will schedule enough people to work. Once again keep up the A++ work!”

“The enrollment process could be better, but the administrator of the enrollment process Mr. Kim is very reasonable man who went above and beyond to help me out with a difficult situation. The woman who work in the enrollment center are really friendly and do their best to help you. I imagine enrollment can be frustrating for many people since so much is required, and attention to detail is paramount, but they do their best to be patient and understanding. Hopefully they invest in an online enrollment process.”

“Response to Aaron Stephenson False Complaint: Rikke Stephenson enrolled her daughter at the first od August in our Thursday night Jazz class that is taught by our Artistic Director Lori Treadway-Elder who is 50 years old (not 16) and has been with The Dancenter for the last 34 years. At the time of enrollment, as we do with all new students, we find out if they are going to participate in the recital. If yes, then there is a costume fee and a recital fee that can be divided into three equal monthly payments. Phyllis (Business Manager) was told by Rikke Stephenson that her daughter would be participating in the Recital and wanted the costume. When someone enrolls at The Dancenter we have the parent read and sign our contract (which has a 30 day out clause as long as a written notice is provided). The parent chose to have her payments automatically withdrawn on the 1st of every month using her Visa card. This student/parent never gave a written notice or any other kind notice. In December, the father contacted The Dancenter claiming his daughter never attended and the reason was because she was attending a Cheer program and he doesn’t allow her to attend 2 activities at the same time. The Dancenter researched the account and saw that his daughter only attended 2 months. The Dancenter then refunded Mr. Stephenson for all expenses other than the 2 months his daughter attended. The Dancenter also waived the 30-day written notice policy. Later, he contacted The Dancenter wanting The Dancenter to also refund the him for the 2 months she did attend. The Dancenter did not refund him for the time his daughter attended classes. Summation of this situation: Mr. Stephenson was not happy when he found out his daughter was attending Cheer and Dance that was setup by his wife. It appears that he didn’t find out until December that his daughter was enrolled in Cheer and Dance. Mr. Stephenson’s claim of fraudulent billing is bogus and without merit and he is committing the crime of libel by making this claim. The Dancenter has the contract and has the credit card information both provided by his wife upon enrollment. He was also refunded $45.00 more than he should have been as The Dancenter did not enforce the 30-day written notice policy. The Dancenter feels we went above and beyond to make this man happy with the refund and not holding him to our enrollment policies. (our attorneys will deal with the Libel charge)”

“I have worked with the staff here for several years and I can tell you that the staff here are some of the most genuine and kind people. They practice patience, which is extremely hard to find in a daycare and they GENUINELY care about the children who attend here. For me QUALITY of childcare is the most important thing when I look for a daycare for my daughter. I would feel confident that everyday my daughter will leave feeling COMFORTABLE and LOVED by the staff. It's hard to find a staff who are friendly and inviting.”

“I attended here from fall 2008 (when the school first opened its doors) until spring 2011 (when I graduated). During those years, The education and school spirit was phenomenal. Plus we have won SW Showdown the first three consecutive years. Funny how the first day the school opened, all the students thought there was only one set of stairs for the school itself so it was packed until the staff had told us there were four stairwells. Jun Kim, who was the original Freshman Principal for the school (previously at Highland West Junior High; and now Director of Technology for Moore Public Schools), was a favorite to every student. He even hooked up a Nintendo Wii to a DLP projector and Ubisoft's Just Dance to have students play with in the cafeteria|commons during lunch on fall and spring finals those years. Coach Gregory Oliver, who was my 10th grade history teacher, is now the Sophomore Class Principal. He loves to sing, but he admits that he's not good, and it shows. Mark Sikes, who is now the Junior Class Principal, was previously the Sophomore Class Principal. Susan Smoot (previously an instructor at Westmoore High School before Southmoore opened), who was my Digtial Media instructor was pretty easy going. Plus, she's got a light sense of humore. Coach Robert Shannon Enfield (who retired from coaching in 2011), who was my 11th grade World History teacher. He didn't necessarily teach out of the Teacher's Edition textbooks, but rather did lectures from the heart and mind. The book was rarely looked at whenever he did lectures. Bill Garner, who was my 12th grade English IV teacher, also has a great sense of humor. Plus, he has those word magnets on his whiteboard so you could use them to make some hilarious sentences. During our class graduation, while we were waiting in the concourse at the Cox Convention Center in Downtown OKC, he did a Spongebob reference over the PA, like he would always do in class, "Are You Ready Kids?" and of course we'd respond with, "Aye Aye, Captain!", "I Can't Hear You!", "Aye Aye, Captain!", "Oooooh...—OK before we get started..." Coach Bradley Black, who I had as my seventh grade pre-algebra teacher at Brink Junior High, is pretty down to earth. Virginia Connel, who I had as my 12th grade Math Analysis teacher, has a great sense of humor. During one lecture, the guys talked about going hunting over the weekend, which lead to some of the other guys discussing what they use to hunt with. She then joins in with, "Y'know what I use? ... A Canon." to which some of us were laughing while the rest of us took two seconds to realize the joke. "A Cannon® Rebel", she added as she made a motion of herself using a DSLR camera. Cindi Lee, (previously taught at Highland West Junior High before Southmoore opened) who I had as my Algebra II teacher has a moderate sense of humor, and is an avid dog lover. She has even brought her pitbull to class and she's a sweetheart. Cindy Mayhew (retired in spring 2011), was my Microsoft Visual BASIC, C++, and Java coding instructor during the first two years I attended. She's very nice and will help out where and when you need it. However, it has come to my attention that after my class had graduated, the attitude of the students had shifted toward a more negative tone. Sure the older generation might say that my class was snobby, but we all were snobby teens. However, the younger generation seems to be more snobby than we were, and this doesn't just apply for Southmoore High.”
