The park is really diverse and big but nothing eye catching.
We always enjoy walking our dogs here. It's clean, people are friendly, and it's just generally a pleasant park. I appreciate that everyone takes responsibility to keep it clean. People generally pick up after themselves and their pets, and I've seen other folks pick up random trash that wasn't their own.
Our dog and the dog in the yard at the northeast corner are buddies. They like to bark at each other and Fritz (our pup) knows when we're getting there because he's excited to see his frand. We recently learned that the other pup's name is Darla. We continue to love this park, and walk here almost every weekday morning.
It's a great park for children and adults! There's a ton of room for activities, and a large playground for the kids. There's also covered pavilion, several picnic tables, and the park is mostly enclosed.
This park is great! The playground equipment is diverse and could accommodate most ages. The "sports" fields are great especially for busy kiddos. There isn't anything for toddlers though and the lack of bathroom facilities is disappointing.
A very soothing neighborhood park where you can run, walk, practice yoga on the green grass, or sit with your friends inside the gazebo. I visited the place after a winter storm, and many trees’ branches were blocking the cement trails. Some citizens took care of the matter, but the city should definitely come along and clean up. Two nice kids used all those fallen branches to create a fun hideout. This park is inspiring.
