River Country Water Park

It's great fun when you have small kids. We have 7 year old twins, one with severe autism, and they wore themselves out in 2 hours. Both pools are shallow so no worries there and the kid pool is the best I've ever seen. It has so many things going on that it kept my autistic son busy and the fountains washed away the noise. He was extremely happy! Please do yourselves a favor, stop by and let your kids play. It was the first time that we have got to go out in public and not hold on to the kid ever.

It was fun, fairly small water park with a few slides, and a lazy river. There is a section for smaller children and a larger pool for swimming. There are no outside food or drinks allowed, so I was really missing my jug of water the whole time. They do have an area for food purchases, although that would not be feasible for an entire summer. It wasn't super busy and it was clean. The staff seemed attentive and mostly helpful.

I loved this place. There are A LOT of life guards so if you don't plan to follow rules I wouldn't go here. For me it was perfect because they kept the big kid OFF the younger kids splash pad. Rather than letting them run everybody over, the life guards are on point here. It was super cheap to get in. Its 1/2 price after 4pm on Thursdays. So we were there for 4 hours for like $10. The lockers rent for $4 which isn't too bad and the size was nice. The only problem I had the entire day was that someone at the concession stand was kind of rude about taking wet money. Oh well what can ya do. This place is an awesome place to take kids.
