Went here on a road trip. I really enjoyed looking around, and the volunteer was amazing. Some of the cars here will be in the movie Killers of the flower moon.
Wow! Catoosa has had this place over 10 years. Its absolutely amazing, educational and uplifting energy. It's free and even has gifts to take home with you. There are stones from around the world. Indian artifacts and an antique car collection. A 1902 Oldsmobile is one of 3 remainining. The blacklight mineral booth is utterly astounding. Rocks have a whole new meaning. They are unique with individual fingerprints. Eric the manager was very accommodating and knowledgeable. One of this areas best kept secrets. An absolute must see. Definitely one of my forever favorite places♡
Fantastic experience! Rock/mineral specimens were amazing and the guy running the place was very friendly and clearly knew what he was talking about. The rocks for sale were gorgeous and being sold at an extremely reasonable price. The buildings look fairly unassuming, so I was shocked to see what great stuff they had inside. Extremely glad I visited, definitely an under-appreciated museum!
We had a great time looking at so many fun, unique rock formations and toys. They also have a fantastic collection of classic cars! Eric was very welcoming and full of information. He was patient and answered all our many questions.
Great museum for classical cars and memorabilia as well as rocks and minerals. Very knowledgeable curator who takes a lot of time to try to drive interest in youth who are distracted by today's sound bite society.
Nice collection of old bourbon bottles as well.
