“New Location is nice, i showed up at 8 to go in at 815, was 4th person in line. They started with 2 windows, but by the time i left at 845 they had 5 windows open. The lady that helped me was so nice and helpful. Most of the bad rep on here is cause Google doesn't direct you right, or the hours. They moved locations and have to work some kinks. Give them a break. Wonderful service and attentiveness. Its a tag office, if you show up early, no issues. Get there late or middle of a busy day, there's gonna be a wait. Don't go online and write a bad review cause you had to wait... It happens...”

“I have driven for Melton since August of 2021. I had ZERO experience in trucking and came to Melton after paying for truck driving school myself. (I found out later that they would reimburse me for my expenses on the school) I can’t tell you how pleased I have been since my first encounter with their staff. There was no pushy salesman technique used. Just honest discussion on what they offered. The training was great and included lodging with breakfast (not great quality but that is on the first hotel I stayed at). The food they served was good. A van was shared by our class so we could run errands and get food and supplies for ourselves throughout the week. The one thing I would say was negative was that the instructors took too much foolishness from some of the students. Too much calling out from students looking to be class clowns. Other than that I was met by my on the road trainer (Matt) who was great. Very patient as I had never driven a truck before. My first DM (Wendy) was also great. Very professional and always willing to address my questions and concerns. My truck was pretty new and had only 99,000 miles on it when I got the keys. It was detailed to the point of brand new. Every terminal I visited was professional and willing to assist in any way. The corporate office in Tulsa is the main terminal and is fully equipped with the best of everything for drivers. A gym is open for workouts, laundry room, showers, and a kitchen that serves home cooked style food daily. I couldn’t ask for a better experience as a new truck driver to the industry. While some people complain that the pay is low in comparison to other major companies, it is my opinion that for someone with no experience to be given a job starting with a salary of approx. $55K it’s hard to whine that your being treated unfairly. You earn 1 day off for every week you stay out on the road and requesting home time was clear and easy to obtain. I even had a family death that resulted in Melton routing me home ASAP no hassle whatsoever. I highly recommend Melton Truck Lines for anyone considering joining the transportation field as a truck driver.”
