Virginia City, from the Reno tourist mine.
First of all, I don't know why it's called the city of Virginia if it's in Nevada.
On a high hill, this town is one of those that grew 150 years ago associated with mining. Exactly, yes, the American West.
Almost abandoned, its peculiar location allowed its structure to be more or less preserved, which was discovered as the perfect setting for Western films and series, such as Bonanza.
The next step has been to become a stage for tourists seeking the memory of the American West.
Maybe some of the rest of the mining and some building are, at least originally, like the historical ones ... the rest is a fictional invention revised for tourism.
