My spouse suffering from very rare condition and unable to have MRI due to implant from previous surgery.

My spouse was in a lot of pain and being in distress and bed bounded for nearly a month. I called them and explained how urgent it is for my spouse to get help and being seen within 2 days.

Dr. Zhang was amazing and without MRI and based on his symptoms he experienced. Dr. Zhang did without hesitation offering options with surgery. My spouse got his scheduled within 2 weeks. As today 6 days post-op I never could fathom to see a huge change in my spouse and he is back to himself for first time in years. He looks happier and liberated from excruciating pain for years.

Dr. Boedeker and staff were very professional, competent and compassionate. Dr. Boedeker explained what he saw on the film that was causing my pain and loss of feeling and strength, what he proposed to do to correct it (hemilaminectomy), and successfully performed the surgery to correct it. He also detailed what my expectations should be, gave me a detailed timeline of when I could resume different activity levels. After the surgery, when I woke up in the recovery room, I could already feel a positive difference. Three weeks after surgery, I feel much better and look forward to resuming a normal activity level and getting back to enjoying life. Thank you Dr. Boedeker & staff!!
