“I have had the necessity to stay in a Skilled Nursing Facility. In the last 2 years, I have stayed in 4 different places. My experience at Avemere Clackamas has been wonderful. The Staff (Admin, RN, CNA, CMA, Activity Dir, Dietitian, Kitchen Manager, Therapist ) all have been very nice and attentive to my needs. One of the Med Techs (CMA) Crystal, does everything in her power to show kindness, respect, and empathy. The kitchen Manager (Betty) has come to me periodically to make sure that my food needs are being met completely (and I have quite the list of needs). The other difference between this location and the other facilities is the quality of the food. Other places were bland and cold. This location has the best food overall. Chris is one of the Chefs… and he really knows what he’s doing. I haven’t loved everything, but that’s just a preference thing, and I have enjoyed prox 95%. The chefs here know how to season your food. The Activity Dir (Chelsea) has fun things planned daily, and she doesn’t just leave it up to you to check out what to do, Chelsea goes around and reminds all residents and helps them get to the adventures location. I could go on singing their praises, but suffices to say … I highly recommend Avamere Clackamas. Thank you for reading this whole review. “Our experience with Somerset Assisted Living has been excellent. All throughout my mom’s residency there these past years, the staff at every level has been so thoughtful, so caring and overall just exceptional. Now as my mom is nearing end of life on home hospice, that thoughtful, caring, and exceptional situation has just put my good-will towards this place and the people there over the top and more than I can convey in an online recommendation. I feel so strongly about this recommendation that I am taking the time to write it now even at this sensitive and hectic time. We had experience with other places previously and for us there was just no comparison to Somerset. The management is excellent, the nursing and med staff are excellent, the support staff and kitchen are excellent. For those new to assisted living and looking for a really nice and worry-free place, you will want to consider Somerset. Keep in mind (as we learned), that the first month/s at any place you go will be an adjustment time for you or your loved one (or in my case family) to adjust to the new life and routines of assisted living in general, just as the staff there will need time to adjust to you and your routines. There will be times of frustration for you or your loved one as they settle in wherever you go, but once a routine is established and you get to know the staff it will become a god-send! The quality of the nursing and meds staff will be very important and here is another area where Somerset is a god-send. Lastly, but definitely not least, in fact maybe near the top, would be the quality of the food, the chef and the kitchen staff and not to sound like a broken record but here too Somerset was a god-send for us. A last thing that makes Somerset excel above the competition for us is the fact that they are a large facility so have the scale offer a wide variety of activities, services and importantly friendships….but unlike some of the other places we had experience with, though large, Somerset is not as rigidly corporate, but flexible when appropriate which is often at just the times that flexibility is appreciated most!”

“I am very impressed with ATI PT in Gladstone. Joe was so welcoming from the start and totally made me feel at ease and confident that he would be able to help me with my groin/hip pain. Each visit Joe would check with me regarding my level of pain and give me exercises to accommodate where I was that day. I have now been released and have been given printed exercises (what we also did at the appointment) to continue to strengthen that area. I am doing sooo much better and feel that I am on the road to recovery. Thank you Joe !!!!! I also appreciate Zac at the front desk assisting with getting my referral and approvals for the visits in place. GREAT experience !!!”

“I never wanted therapy, just like many others. I have seen multiple therapists and I still did not believe I would find anyone who would talk to me like a real person. Jennifer opened my eyes to a whole new territory. I saw her for the first time, and I was actually kinda rude to her, but she somehow broke my brick wall barrier. She handled all my snottiness in such a way that it all but "slapped me across the face". Jennifer became someone that I always looked forward to seeing not just because she made me feel better, but because she became something for me that I didn't have and she taught me how to do it and see it myself, without her sessions anymore. It has been 4 years since I have seen her, and still to this day I think about our sessions and what she taught me. Jennifer is very professional and fun at the same time, she always knew how to make me smile.
