  I’ve lived here over two years through both management companies and these are still the best apartments in Happy Valley because they have AC (which many others don’t) and a secured entrance… many others have immediate outside access from your front door meaning missing packages and less security. We have a package concierge and fob-accessible lobbies for each building, including fob-only access to the elevators and stairwells plus cameras in the lobbies. Plus we are connected to all the trails and you can walk to grab your groceries, go to the library (20 min walk) or take the bus to the mall. I don’t drive but they have carport parking that will save your car from freezing during the snow season, which I highly recommend. Your experience is highly dependent upon the floor and building you choose. The buildings are oldest closest to the leasing and the newest one is the furthest because the building was done in stages. When I moved in 2020 the last building was just a lot. The top floors have the best views while the 2nd floor in the 2nd building gives you direct access to the dog park or storage area. Management handles maintenance request quickly and responds to most comments, questions and concerns. Shady works in the leasing office and can be reached quickly either in-office, over email or phone. I plan on staying for a few more years. I’d be delighted if they sold them individually, the houses out here are overkill for a single person. Hidden gem, for sure.

  Misty Ridge is the best!! The location is phenomenal, being in the heart of Happy Valley and minutes away from your favorite local shops and restaurants. The trails around the complex are to die for. The views are absolutely gorgeous in the day time, or taking a nice walk under the lit streets of the neighborhood at night. It's been a huge pleasure being a part of the community. Everything was perfect, from the apartments and atmosphere, to the staff and maintenance. Tazhana and Julian is the BEST management that I've ever had. They're personable, caring, and fun! They definitely bent over backwards to make sure I was taken care of. When I started house shopping, I asked Tazhana if they would ever go condo. If they were, or ever did, I wouldn't hesitate to make a stay here. THIS IS A PLACE I CALL HOME.
  
  *Edit* I have been informed that Atlas Property Management is no longer with Misty Ridge which may render this review no longer accurate. The Happy Valley Area is still a stellar area but good management makes or breaks apartment style living.

  It has been a long time since I have lived in an apartment. I looked at numerous places before settling on Misty Ridge. We have been here a month and love it. The management is super responsive, as we witnessed during the recent fires. We love the secure access, dog park, reasonable cost for storage, and valet garbage. The apartment is very comfortable and we have been surprised at how quiet it is. Misty Ridge feels way more like a condo than an apartment building. If you are looking for a well maintained property that feels like home than Misty Ridge is for you.

  I’ve lived here at Misty Ridge for close to a year and half while my 100 year old home is being restored.
  
  Living here has been an outstanding, trouble-free experience in every regard. This is a well-managed, pride of ownership property.
  
  The buildings were built from the ground up with attention to detail, including design. The features of the apartments are condominium-quality throughout: attractive appearance with fine materials and finishes, garage parking, elevator, full-size washer and dryer in each apartment, excellent appliances in a great layout, and convenient storage units on the same floor where you live.
  
  Julian, the property manager, is an excellent communicator, a real asset to the property.
  
  Many of the apartments have outstanding views. I got lucky with a top floor, vaulted ceiling unit facing east. The views are amazing: from my living room, bedroom, and terrace I look out on multiple ranges of wooded hills, with snow-covered Mt. Hood straight ahead. The fall color was spectacular. Watching the morning sun rise over Mt. Hood from my apartment is flat-out incredible.
  
  This property is located on a hillside, with a great shopping center right below offering an excellent grocery store and a wide range of shops, restaurants, and useful business arranged in an attractive, village layout.
  
  If this property ever goes condo, I would buy this unit as an investment.
  
  Restoration of my home is far enough along now that I’m moving out of my Misty Ridge apartment and wanted to write a well-deserved, 5-star review.
  
  I have not had a single issue or problem the entire time I’ve lived here.

  Misty. Ridge is a quiet and secure cut above. Great care has been taken in the details from our secure bike storage, BBQs and dedicated pet areas. The personal touch and responsiveness from property manager Julian matches the professional and relaxing environment. We looked at a half dozen places and we are glad we decided on Misty Ridge both from the positive personal experience but also from the negative reports from other apartments.
