“I know that some people may be upset with their or their child's experience at HVMS and I get that. every school gets complaints and here at HVMS we embrace them and use them to make our school are more fun, and welcoming place to be, but we don't let them define who we are. I know middle school can be a scary threatening place for newcomers but I found that when I came to this school it almost instantly felt like home, most of the staff is so kind and welcoming and make us students feel safe. Our school welcomes all gender identifications, races, and helps the less fourtunante. And as for the bullies, well every school has them so saying that the only thing that defines us are our bullies is stupid and pointless because you could go to any school and experience bulling, and its not the kids fault. they should learn right from wrong from their parents not our teachers. Also almost none of the money we earn from fundraisers/dances goes to the 'Thirst Project" A company that collects funds to provide wells for people in africa, so we are most definately not self centered and selfish.”

“I Came to them when I wanted to have a custom ring made with my family's birth stones in it. Braden helped me come up with the design that I wanted and the layout of the ring. He Was very conscious about helping me stay on the budget that I had set for my ring. I told him I was Trying to keep the price anywhere between a $100 to $500. We picked out artificial gyms That were priced reasonably well. We had done a calculation together and the price was going to be around $200 plus the price of setting The birth stones into the ring. He told me it would take up to 5 to 7 days to get the call back about the setting price. When he called me back he delivered some very devastating news. He told me that it was going to be $900 total for the ring. That the company that they were using to set the ring was very pricey. I told him because of the price that I was going to look elsewhere but I think him for his time. Braden could tell that I was pretty upset Because I had had my heart set on this ring. He felt so badd after talking to me that he called up the company that was setting the gyms and Negotiated a the lower price for me. He called me back 2 days later and told me that he had gotten the company That sets the gym stones in the rings down To a comfortable price for me. He even found out that it was around the same price to By Real Birthstone instead of buying lab made ones. I was really touched by this He really did go the of and beyond for me. Unfortunately by then I had already purchased a ring from Kay jewelers. He said he completely understood and handled the new as well. Now that I am thinking about getting my Daughter a Custom made necklace with our family Birth stones in it I'm looking forward to finding Braden and ordering it through him.”

The staff is friendly and they have some fun and tasty cocktails to choose from. Their happy hour menu is decent sized and well priced. The food tastes fresh and the portions are generous! “I’ve lived here over two years through both management companies and these are still the best apartments in Happy Valley because they have AC (which many others don’t) and a secured entrance… many others have immediate outside access from your front door meaning missing packages and less security. We have a package concierge and fob-accessible lobbies for each building, including fob-only access to the elevators and stairwells plus cameras in the lobbies. Plus we are connected to all the trails and you can walk to grab your groceries, go to the library (20 min walk) or take the bus to the mall. I don’t drive but they have carport parking that will save your car from freezing during the snow season, which I highly recommend. Your experience is highly dependent upon the floor and building you choose. The buildings are oldest closest to the leasing and the newest one is the furthest because the building was done in stages. When I moved in 2020 the last building was just a lot. The top floors have the best views while the 2nd floor in the 2nd building gives you direct access to the dog park or storage area. Management handles maintenance request quickly and responds to most comments, questions and concerns. Shady works in the leasing office and can be reached quickly either in-office, over email or phone. I plan on staying for a few more years. I’d be delighted if they sold them individually, the houses out here are overkill for a single person. Hidden gem, for sure.”

“This place is incredible! They have the traditional drinks as well as a huge selection of other drinks which are absolutely incredible. I got a latte which featured fresh orange. I was a little worried how this would taste as I couldn’t quite imagine it, but holy cow - it works! Staff is wonderful. I wish I had gotten a better photo, but I will snap one next time, as I will definitely be returning here often.”

“Yum teriyaki! Fresh! Got the prawns skewers to add to the plate and flavorful. The meal is large enough to Feed two for petite people. Also got the prawns tempura, hot fresh and crispy! 5 star for a “fast food type” restaurant. Don’t get me wrong it’s not fine dining so I’m rating based on alternative to fast food choices of burgers or sandwich shops.”

“I had my haircut by Kendall after being in denial of my last stylist moving and waiting too long for a cut. My hair was desperately in need of a cut and Kendall blew it out of the water. I had some basic ideas of what I wanted but nothing too specific. She listened attentively and delivered big time- I’m obsessed! She took off the perfect amount leaving it feeling lighter, fresh & healthy! Kendall is so sweet and personable. She could make anyone feel comfortable in her chair. She’s knowledgeable, willing to teach & not pushy. Salon Fuss carries all of my favorite Aveda products but I never felt pressured to buy any. I was in the market for a new leave in and Kendall steered me in the right direction for my hair type. She asked if it was okay to put products in my hair and before she diffused it (love a hairstylist with body autonomy boundaries!) I can’t say enough great things about her she’s truly a gem of a human and hair stylist. 10/10 will absolutely be having Kendall do my hair in the future!”
