“The staff and caregivers are extremely friendly and caring. I love the games director always super high affinity with all patients and creative. Whoever puts on events is choosing a good mixture of performers, inviting churches, who do a wonderful job. The menus with soup and main dishes are good looking and tasty. The dining area and recess areas always clean and looking nice with flowers. A lemon water stand by reception keeps everybody hydrated. The only negative aspect is the daily sugar desserts at lunch and dinners. For memory care patients especially counterproductive as Alzheimer's disease etc .will worsen tremendously with sugarintake as per latest health research.”

“Doctor Carry did a great job and was super flexible and helpful with offering me empty spots in the office schedule to get everything done in a very short amount of time! I was having an emergency as I realized a cavity was deep went all the way down to the bottom of my tooth but was moving to NY in just a few days. They only had one opening in July that I would only be doing an exam only but I was leaving July 31, their first opening being Aug 1. I canceled that appointment as I needed not an exam but work done on my tooth. After trying to get in at different clinics and being unable I asked back at Arrow to see if they had a last minute opening. They did and instead of doing the exam I asked if they could just fill my broken tooth. They did and did a good job. Then they had an opening for my full exam in their dental truck. So I took the exam and realized there was 5 more teeth that needed help. They had a last minute opening for an appointment the next day 1 1/2 opening. They fixed all my teeth and that afternoon were also able to get me in last minute for a cleaning too. So going from not thinking I would be able to get anything done, to fixing 6 teeth and an exam and cleaning from last minute openings in their schedule. What a great office! I especially thank Doctor Carry for doing her job well and being helpful so I could get all the work done!”

“What a wonderful surprise to find such a beautiful retreat center in my own neighborhood. I am a local pastor, and in the early spring I was looking for a peaceful getaway for a study retreat. I hoped to find a place where I could have silence and solitude without feeling entirely isolated. I found such a balance at the Franciscan Spiritual Center, where I was able to enjoy quiet study in my lovely little room, as well as refreshing fellowship with the staff as we shared midday meals and interacted in the kitchen and common rooms. As a retreatant, I felt entirely welcomed; more than welcomed--I felt blessed. As I read, wrote, prayed, painted, and drew, I knew the FSC staff were praying that I would feel renewed in God’s presence. The staff, the books on the bookshelves, the framed prayers in my room, and the art in the hallways, all spoke a message of peace and wholeness. I expect to return soon for a day retreat or class, and will plan my next study retreat at the Franciscan Center.”
