Molalla River Recreation Area

Beautiful area for day use and some nice looking camping options. There are areas with relatively fresh fire damage, and those will definitely become more dangerous over time until the area is cleared.

This is one of those places I don't want everyone to know about 😅 It's so beautiful up there. Great place to spend the day if you're interested in being out in the woods. Don't go too far, or the remnants of the forest fires will make you sad.. still, awesome places to go check out all up the riverside. 😁

The dogs had a blast swimming. They seem to find all the best swimming holes in Oregon over and over again. Pretty smart dogs if you ask me LOL.

Very scenic river. I was on limited time so I just parked in gravel lot on side of highway and walked down to the river. Walk down was easy but people who are fall risks might want to be careful on some of the rocks. A little slippery.

This is a nearly hidden that few people get to enjoy. There is so much. So many neat almost hidden camp sites, unlimited back logging roads to explore and see nature. A river with 12+ miles you can drive, fish, swim, etc.
