“I purchased the largest safe in the USA series last fall and now feel that I have had the safe from Liberty Safes long enough to write a true and competent evaluation. The safe was purchased mainly to store my sterling flatware, but I also use it to keep cash, my coin collection, other collectibles, and important papers. I had the safe delivered by Liberty to my home in West Salem and had it placed in a back room of my home. The people delivering the safe were extremely competent as well as were the people in the office. There are absolutely no flaws in the safe and I have no reservations about its purchase. I have some recommendations and information for people considering purchasing a safe from Liberty Safes: 1. The shelves are easily movable and more shelves can be purchased by using a phone number on the inside of the safe door. You will need to tell the operator the serial number of the safe. If you do this be patient since it takes several weeks for the shelves to arrive. Shelves can be installed on either side of the center vertical panel. 2. Have interior lights and dehumidifier installed by Liberty Safes. The lights, which come on when the safe is opened, really makes it easy to see the contents of the safe. The dehumidifier is good for stored papers and, in my case, sterling flatware. (Sterling tarnishes more rapidly in a humid environment.) I imagine that a low-humidity environment is also good for guns. (I do not own any guns.) 3. Choose a mechanical combination lock over an electronic one. There is no way that anyone could possibly break into the safe because the dial has to be turned clockwise and counterclockwise multiple times between numbers too get into the safe. You get to choose your own combination. (Mine is based on my social security number which I have had memorized since college.) A friend of mine recommended a mechanical lock since that is what he has on his own Liberty Safe. In addition, the salesman who sold me my safe told me that he has a mechanical lock on his own Liberty Safe at his home. I also feel that mechanical locks are more elegant than electronic. (Note: When I purchased my safe, the website indicated that only electronic locks were available on the USA series safes. Actually, Liberty Safes will gladly install mechanical locks on USA series safes.) 4. Purchase the magnetic dial light for the safe if you do get a mechanical lock. It really makes it easier to enter the combination to the safe. So, there you have it! I really cannot imagine anyone being anything less than completely satisfied with a safe from Liberty Safe of Oregon.”

“Took my new Raider 198 in for a fishing tower. It took a little longer than predicted but worth the wait. Top-quality custom tower fit my needs perfectly when put to the test at Buoy 10. Pat and the crew also took the time (most of the day) to help me install and get a borrowed kicker running. Great folks to work with and recommend them highly. 5 stars from me.”
