“e just purchased a car at Bates Car Company for my son with very little to spend after our insurance company declared his car totaled from a hit and run. All that to say, the initial car we purchased we had inspected the next morning and there were some issues with it. I immediately got ahold of Tom to talk through it and he allowed us to bring the car back and purchase one we felt safe with. He absolutely didn't have to do this, he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with the vehicle and was incredibly kind about the whole situation. “I contacted Carlos Automotive Repair today because my splash guard on my 2015 Camry popped off and was dragging on the ground. It’s hard when you’re a young woman going alone to mechanics because I’ve found that places like Les Schwab want to try to upsell me the entire time I’m there and tell me I need to purchase things I don’t need to purchase. I reached out to the guys at Carlos’ and was quoted $20-$40 and I asked if they had time that day and they said absolutely and to come on down. I showed up and the guy that helped me was so nice and made me feel so comfortable while I was there. He promptly pulled my car in, I took a seat in the office, and he fixed my problem in about 10 minutes. He came back in and charged me $10 for the repair. I can’t say how much I appreciate the guys there enough! Times are tough and money is tight and I was worried about how much it was going to cost me, and thankfully the nice souls at Carlos’ really hooked me up. I recommend them if you need mechanic work done, I’ll definitely be going back in the future. Thanks guys!!”
