Quaint little park, lots of character, and wonderful little town
It's a great getaway for a mini road trip from Salem and so nice out there ! The park is tasteful, rustic design to coordinate with the old coal mine days, when Scotts Mills actually had a need for a motel. I used to live there and this park was installed after I moved away from a bare field with a grove of oak trees and my school bus in the hippy days lol. Yes I'm a dinosaur lol. This is a historical town by the way with a history. You can Google back when it was a miners town with a coal mine where the creek currently runs through the left over rock hollows. Unfortunately they fenced that off so you can only read about it.
Super fun little park...husbands company picnic was there today
Cute, well-maintained park. Covered Bridge walk-through for great pictures. Park is available to rent the whole thing for weddings, parties, etc. It's not very big. There is a playground for the kids, we always have a nice time. Covered picnic area.
